Palma is a Mediterranean destination that sounds like sun, beach and summer, but it is not just that. The Balearic capital has another, more urban side.
It is a welcoming, elegant city, where it is a pleasure to stroll through unique patios and modernist buildings, good shops, lively cafés with terraces and charming restaurants.
The sun, the calm of the sea, the smell of salt, all this reminds us of Palma de Mallorca, and the fact is that the capital of Mallorca has one of the best views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Palma has a beautiful old town with narrow streets and a medieval layout, delimited by avenues where the walls that demarcated the city were located in the past. Moreover, most of the historic buildings are located in this area, being the best starting point to explore the town, it is a very lively area, full of shops and shops, and where walking around you can discover one of the most characteristic elements of the Balearic city, the interior courtyards, architectural elements built between the XV and XVII centuries.

The Cathedral of Mallorca, the absolute queen of Mallorcan monuments, whose Gothic profile can be seen from the entire promenade, always present in the lists of the most beautiful in the world and also known as the “Cathedral of the light and the sea. Most importantly, it was built over a mosque that was once a Roman temple, an architectural jewel visible from any point of the city, the light enters through its immense windows creating incredible effects, its interior was transformed with the art and sensitivity of Gaudí.

The Port of Palma is one of the first in the Mediterranean to receive cruise ships and an international benchmark for ship repairs. It is located in the middle of the city, just in front of the labyrinthine old town, linked from one end to the other by the Paseo Marítimo, which was literally stolen from the sea in the sixties, and is divided into four distinct areas: the commercial docks, the Poniente docks, the sports docks and the West dock.

Palma de Mallorca International Airport is the third most important airport in Spain, popularly known as Mallorca Airport or Son Sant Joan Airport,
It is located in the south of the island and is 8 kilometres from the city of Palma.
